Hi folks, I’m an OR nurse thinking about stepping into a surgical technologist role, and I’m trying to understand the main comparisons between the CSFA and CST certification exams. I’ve examined some comparison charts from the credentialing bodies and read a few discussion posts, but I’m still puzzled on how the content and difficulty really compare, and what kinds of work opportunities each certification might open up. For starters, which exam tends to be more demanding? Also, from a practical standpoint, how do employers view CSFA vs CST credentials when it comes to progression or salary potential? If anyone has personal experience or insights, especially regarding how these certifications influenced your career path, it would be greatly appreciated. I came across some detailed info here csfa exam but would appreciate your views too. Thanks guys for the thorough explanations and personal experiences shared!
